The CEREC machine removes all the common obstacles to getting a dental crown. Thanks to its non-invasive method to explore a patients’ mouths and create customized crowns out of high-quality ceramic.
That’s right! No more gooey impression material that you have to sit with in your mouth, for 5 minutes at a time gagging. You can also give Dr. Suffoletta some ideas of what you would like. For instance, if something always felt too big, we can make the crown smaller in that area. Heck, we can even add your initials if you wanted.
After the porcelain crowns are designed, it is sent to our printing machine to be fabricated. In around 7 minutes, the crown is completed and he dentist can cement it onto the tooth. That’s it! Once the crown placement is complete, your tooth restoration will look like your natural teeth. Now, you’re off to lunch or dinner with no limitations.

In three weeks the messy, gooey imprints that are no more, would be send to a lab to have a permanent crown fabricated. After which, they would get shipped back to the dental practice for cementation during one of your multiple visits.
Using the Cone Beam CT scan & cad cam technology, Dr. Jeffrey N. Suffoletta can take a thorough 3D computer aided image of your tooth and surrounding teeth. This digital impression will be used to manufacture a personalized crown. This is also a great option if you need an emergency dentist. The process takes about an hour, and the resulting crown is ready to be bonded to the natural tooth.
